The US Democratic Party has filed a lawsuit against the government of Russia, President Donald Trump’s election headquarters and WikiLeaks, accusing them of intervene in the US presidential election in 2016. The party’s request, filed in Manhattan, records that high-ranking representatives of Trump’s election headquarters, along with the Russian government and Russian military intelligence officers, have failed the Democrats’ nomination for presidential election, Hillary Clinton. In this way, the victory of Donald Trump was guaranteed.
The democrats also say that Trump’s headquarters have benefited from Russian aid for the 2016 election and accuse him of being a “racketeering enterprise” working with Moscow.
The Democratic Party said that in the US election campaign in 2016, Russia had taken a full-scale attack on American democracy and found “a willing and active partner” in the face of Donald Trump.
Among the people accused by the Democrats in the claim are Trump’s son Donald Jr, and his son-in-law Jared Kushner.
The White House does not comment on the claim in court. Donald Trump has repeatedly denied that his campaign has been backed by Russia and intervenes in the elections. Four of the US Special Services, however, said in 2017 that Russia had sponsored the failure of the Democrats campaign.
